Android Privacy Policy
Genshin Timer for Android · Last updated: July 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how BMElectro (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use Genshin Timer for Android (the “App”). This policy applies only to the Android App. The Windows / Overwolf version has a separate Privacy Policy.
1. Information we collect
You can use the App without signing in. In that case, your timers and settings remain stored locally on your device.
If you choose to sign in with Google and use cloud synchronization, we collect:
- Email address associated with your Google account.
- Account identifier assigned by Firebase Authentication.
- Timer and settings data that you choose to synchronize, including custom timers, timer status, server, and preferences.
We do not receive or store your Google password.
2. How we use information
We use this information only to:
- Sign you in to the App.
- Synchronize and restore your timers and settings across supported devices.
- Maintain the security and operation of the App.
- Respond to support, privacy, and deletion requests.
3. How information is stored and shared
We use Google Sign-In, Firebase Authentication, and Cloud Firestore to provide account and synchronization features. These services process information according to the Google Privacy Policy and Firebase privacy information.
We do not sell your personal information, use it for advertising, or share it with advertisers.
We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the App, its users, or our legal rights.
4. Data retention
Information stored locally remains on your device until you clear the App’s data or uninstall it, subject to any device backup settings you have enabled. Account information and synchronized data remain in Firebase while your account is active. Signing out or uninstalling the App does not automatically delete cloud data.
5. Account and data deletion
You may request deletion of your Genshin Timer account and synchronized data at any time:
- Email [email protected], preferably from the Google account used to sign in.
- Use the subject Genshin Timer Android account deletion.
- State that you want your account and synchronized data deleted.
- Complete any reasonable account-ownership verification we request. Never send your password.
After verification, we will delete your Genshin Timer account and synchronized timer data. This does not delete your Google account or information independently retained by Google under its own policies.
6. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. Data sent between the App and Google/Firebase is encrypted in transit. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
7. Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum digital-consent age in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable age. A parent or guardian may contact us to request deletion.
8. Your choices and rights
You may use the App without signing in, sign out to stop future synchronization, clear local data through Android settings, or request deletion of your account and cloud data. Depending on where you live, you may also have legal rights to access, correct, or restrict the use of your personal information.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the App or our data practices change. We will post the revised policy here with a new “Last updated” date.
